Global Chief Strategy Officer

Over the last few decades Harjot has held senior regional and global strategy leadership roles in Europe, UK, North America, China and Asia. He joined McCann New York in 2011, and prior to being named global CSO of McCann, he served as CSO McCann EMEA, leading it to be the number one most creatively effective Agency Network for five years! Through this experience, he has learned and adopted a transformational style of leadership- focused on building vision, a culture necessary to realise that vision, inspiring shared dreams, and celebrating excellence.

Karl Marsden

Former Chair / CEO

Karl is an ex-media executive turned business performance and turnaround specialist with a specific interest in the SME sector. After nearly 20 years in the magazine & digital media sector Karl left his corporate seat to become part of the founding management team at Shortlist Media Ltd a freemium based media company. Most recently Karl completed a successful turnaround as Contagious was acquired by Ascential Plc in August of this year (2023).

Sophie Trinder

Sophie Trinder is Head of the X Next team in the UK, the in-house Creative and Strategy team who help brands and agencies unlock the creative potential of the platform. Prior to joining X in 2016, Sophie oversaw integrated campaigns at Saatchi and Saatchi New York and London, Adam and Eve and We are Social.

Maria started her career as a digital delivery consultant working with a vast array of digital agencies and brands spanning the past 20 years.

Maria is the Operations Director at Publicis Poke. Cultivating teams over the years led Maria to develop a deep passion for mentoring and coaching which led her to founding lollipop Mentoring.

The aim of lollipop is to ensure that Black women have access to individuals who can help to get them to the next level. I want them to know that they are not alone – there is help.

Lizi Hamer

Global ECD

As well as her role as Global ECD for Octagon, Lizi has co-built the foundations of a new kind of agency; No2ndPlace. An agency using the power of sport to create enduring social change, they work with brands, sports bodies, not-for-profits and athletes to drive awareness and impact societal issues through meaningful work that helps the world win. Lizi has the “creative enthusiasm of a school bus on the way to the zoo” and boy is it contagious.

Mark Fetters

Bomb Disposal Squadron Commander, British Army

Mark Fetters is a Major in the British Army and has spent the majority of his 15 years working in Explosive Ordnance Disposal. He has just finished commanding a Squadron of 150 bomb disposal specialists. His other experience includes being responsible for bomb disposal policy at the Ministry of Defence and advising the African Union Mission in Somalia.

Jennifer Price

Defence and Security Consultant, British Army Officer and adventurer

Jen Price, is a former British Army Officer who spent the entirety of 2022 undertaking an extreme set of adventure and endurance challenges on behalf of the Veteran’s Foundation. The solo was to complete 12 challenges in 12 months. The challenges included the Devizes to Westminster international canoe race, an ironman, a multistage ultra-marathon, summit of Aconcagua, and a 1000 mile self-supported Lands’ End to John O’Groats cycle. Jen raised nearly £35,000 for the Veterans’ Foundation.
